Couldnt have been better. Such a great location for everything, theatre, shops, restaurants, etc. Lovely bed and breakfast, very welcoming proprietor and more than helpful. I will be recommending it to anyone travelling to Derry for a weekend.

What a lovely little BnB, Kieran was great craic, a fantastic host. My room (lovingly referred to as the cell ) was a single room, and fairly small - remember how old the townhouse is - but it was perfectly suitable for what I needed. En-suite shower room, tea and coffee, hairdryer and TV. Bed was very comfortable too! Had seen some previous guests moan about breakfast but I thought the breakfast was great. There was a great choice of cereals - think 6 or 8 different types - a choice of bread, spreads, yoghurt and fruit. All 3 mornings I was full up for so long, not eating again until like 3 or 4pm. Location is great too, literally on the Walls. Was easily walkable to all the main sites. Wouldnt hesitate to book here when I inevitably return to Derry in the future!

Fabulous wee B&B, spent last night there after a concert, the rooms are well decorated and more importantly they are immaculate. The location is central to everywhere, breakfast was a friendly easygoing affair with the chef accommodating two coeliacs, one with dairy intolerance too, he couldnt have done more, I would highly recommend this place to everyone !!!

My husband and I are in love with the host and his family. We loved our stay here! . We reached Belfast on 24th December, a day before Christmas. We had plans of going to Derry/Londonderry on 25th, which turned out be a flawed plan as far as the conveyance was concerned. There is no public transportation that operates on Christmas in Europe - we had to take an Uber to get to Derry/Londonderry which did cost us a lot. . It was all so quiet when we reached there! None of the grocery stores were opened which did make us a little worried since we were not carrying anything to eat. . We reached our hotel and called the hotel owner to ask if there were any stores which he knew would be opened. Kieran, our knight in the shining armour, invited us over for the lunch at his place instead, and provided us with sufficient groceries for our dinner as we wouldnt have been able to manage them from anywhere on Christmas. . Not only he helped us with the food, he drove us all the way from Londerry/Derry to Portrush, our next destination of the trip which we were supposed to reach on 26th, Boxing day! Yeah, yeah, I know we shouldnt have planned our trip on these dates, but it was totally worth it as we got to meet Kieran and his beautiful family and got to know so much about Ireland from a native. Such fond memories! : Derry, Northern Ireland! December, 2019!

Beautiful Townhouse in the walled city. Very friendly well informed staff, lovely breakfast and the most comfortable beds so lovely to get such a great nights sleep in the middle of a city centre. Everything on your doorstep too highly recommended will definitely stay again.

The place was okay. The walls were thin and we could hear others walking up and down the stairs. We were on the top floor, so not sure how that went for the people on lower floors. The pigeons outside our windows were really loud and woke us up at daybreak. But overall the room was clean and served its purpose.

We had a wonderful stay here. The well-decorated and stylish house is located right along the old city wall, pubs, restaurants and sights just around the corner. Breakfast is a choice between traditional Irish and continental with an awesome boal of fresh fruits, greek-style joghurt and granola. Loved it!

Clean tidy and very central and the host Was a gentleman. But I come from the land of eggs and bacon and if you think Im going to eat your continental breakfast by Jesus, Keiran youre mistaking.. LOL .. . Walkability: With all the hilly streets I now know why its called Stroke City

Wonderful guesthouse. Right next to the astonishingly well preserved old city walls. Its both a short walk from the Bogside and the very centre of the city. Best of all was the host Kieran, who was a pleasure to talk to and a wealth of cultural and historical information about the city. This is the place to stay in Derry.

We used No 8 Townhouse for some of our speakers during our CultureTECH Festival 15th-21st September 2014. All of our speakers commended on the high standard of accommodation- great service, clean and beautiful rooms and the GREAT breakfast. This townhouse is located in the heart of the city centre, however it is on a lovely quiet street, so great for a peaceful nights sleep. It is a few steps to the shops, restaurants, theatre and bars. Great location. Perfect for both leisure and business stays. I cant recommend this place enough! Great value for money. Rachel
